Our Approach

Integrative Resource Network is a space for members of the mental health community to find resources to expand and transform their therapeutic practice through an integrative lens. Our goal at IRN is to inspire and empower mental health professionals with well-rounded, trauma-informed, experiential trainings that are founded in research and based on years of first-hand experience with complex cases. IRN provides a wide variety of live online and on-demand trainings. CE's and EMDRIA Credits are available where applicable.

Here at Integrative Resource Network, we define an integrated therapeutic experience as trauma informed, experiential, and relational. With these three qualities thoughtfully and intentionally incorporated into treatment a client is more likely to experience deeper, long-lasting change. As you explore our website, you will notice that these themes are present throughout our trainings and resources. Our goal is to bring a holistic approach to the learning process.

Trauma Informed

Being trauma informed is more than just the identification and assessment of the varying big T and little t traumas that people experience throughout life. It also implies a foundational understanding of the body’s threat response system.

Experiential

Learning is best integrated when it is based in firsthand experience and observation. As clinicians, we know that opportunities to practice new skills leads to a more comprehensive learning experience—we bring this concept to our work with clients, and in our work with our fellow clinicians.

Relational

We are social creatures—on a biological level, we are wired for connection. Interruptions to our most sacred relationships influences how we learn to show up in the world.

Trauma is relational; healing is relational.
